Yeah you're actually 100% right.

The stage was super small, that's why at least Sisely couldn't dance around because apparently she's really good with the audience.

Basically, the crowds that come out to see bands perform for concerts/shows suck. It's why many, many bands don't come back to Fresno or never come here because they know how disrespectful we are or how we're just not into it. I think that's why they didn't play any of the new songs for us, because the crowd just sucked.

Here's why Paramore will never come back here....a few years ago they played a show and someone from the crowd threw an opened condom at Haley and it stuck to her shirt. She was pissed to say the least. Yep, and they've never been back here. All the good bands that play at warped tour skip over Fresno too Sad. Oh well. Just another reason why I want to leave this stupid town! lol.

Wow, that really sucks! Poor Hayley. =[ No wonder everyone is telling bands on their myspace like "Why don't you ever come to Fresno?!?" and blah blah. I just thought it was because California is a popular spot for shows.

Also, I keep hearing comments about how Sisely doesn't know how to dance or how to work a crowd and how Carah had unique dance moves, etc etc. I still think they could at LEAST upgrade to a House of Blues stage. I don't know how big they are in other states, but the one in Chicago is pretty small. Well, at least a little TOO small for bands like Avenged Sevenfold to play on when they did. I just think that Sisely would be able to move around more, show her moves. Because I know she has it in her. But it does seem difficult to get into a show when everyone is basically just standing around.

And I think you can still be intimate with a crowd when you're on a bit of a bigger stage. It just all depends on how you interact with the crowd and get them going. The footage of "Le Disko" reminded me of those opening bands who no one knows and can hardly get into them, so they just stand there and kinda bob their heads along to the beat - even if the band is jumping all around stage. I dunno. Just how I feel.

Yeah that's exactly how it was. They were the main band yet people just bopped heads around. When I wasn't recording I was jumping up and down and singing along. Although, as the show progressed, people warmed up and more people were dancing around but not nearly as much as they should have and only a handful of people looked they were actually enjoying it. lol sucked. I think a lot of people weren't dancing around for le disko because they were recording it (like me!) Though I wanted to jump around, I really wanted to capture that song. Meh, I duno. It was extremely hot in there and the stage was very small and the crowd was sucky. My guess.....they won't be back lol. *sigh* just another good band that had a bad experience in Fresno. We're notorious for scaring bands away..lol.

Awwww, lol. Well, if they don't ever come back, then I guess you'll have to travel! haha. Which sucks, too. Chicago is a pretty popular place for concerts, so I hate when bands post their tour schedule and you have like 3 other spots in Illinois, but none of them are Chicago. Makes me mad. I guess that's how it feels with Fresno, but at least most bands come back. Hahaha.

Great videos.. But the people commenting on them... Oh my effin God. Sisely haters. They need to shut the hell up.

I know....they're so wrong. Let's throw jelly beans at them! Thx for the comment =) My arm was getting tired from taking so many vids. I took more but they take FOREVER to upload on youtube.

I agree
No one should be bashing on Sisely
she is amazing
she has more  energy and I love her

It's like they forgot the other 3 members of the band when Carah left. Was she their whole reason for the band? That's not STG devotion. That's Carah devotion.

Ahoy.. I had such a longgg night.. Talked to someone close to Carah.. And.. uhmm... someone else really amazing. But it brought on a slight headache.. lol

I wish everyone would stop being dramatic. Carah left.. No one needs to know how or why.. The important thing is, she's back with her own thing and STG has a new album. It's a time for celebration.. Not hate. Sisely is awesome.. Carah is awesome.. Can't fans, old and new just get a long!

yea I agree
we shouldnt be bashing on anyone

I'm the same way... I hold a grudge. And I do hold a slight grudge against a particular side in the STG/Carah case... But overall I'm over it and welcome Sisely with open arms.

I'm usually not used to seeing people leave bands but I'm not surprised that Carah left
her voice is amazing
but I love Sisely too

I'm still not even sure what the real story with the STG/Carah case is.

And Sisely is pretty fantastic. so i let it go,
and accepted change with open arms.
its a long story I guess
someone explained it to me

If everyone is happy, then I am happy. If they are still making music for us, then I will never complain. If they are not doing any of these things together, I accept it because they seem to be happy in their music making lives.

I will never complain about STG
lol
