I don't understand. Not all radio stations are bad. In St. Louis, MO they're already on the radio (an alternative rock station, not pop) and have been since the WAP days. Besides, I feel they would get more half-fans from their TV commercials versus regular radio play.
I also like La Roux, but haven't heard them on the radio.

Dude, that is how I discover them in early 2006. There is a special hour on Kroq that they play local bands and a lot of them were not very good. But when I heard the intro of Le Disko, I knew that this band was special. You can't compare STG to the artist you hear in pop radio. La Roux may be good. I've only heard Bulletproof, and that it sounds like a bad remix of a good song.

La Roux is awful. I had to listen to that CD all the way to Georgia. It's just not good.
And not everything on the radio is ****. Believe it or not, there are some good stations out there.
