I agree with the OP.
However, the ones who are complete assholes to Sisely and the rest of band I do not feel sorry for in the least bit. Mostly because I was in the same boat. The thing that had gotten me into STG was Carah. I was immediately in love and thought she was the best ****ing thing since sliced bread. I was devastated when I found out she had left, but decided to try out SOP. I ended up finally really liking Sisely for who she was and fell in love with Chad and realized him and Jeremy ARE Shiny Toy Guns.

It's not like he's been moping around the forum the past two years hating on STG. I don't get it. I realize he figured it out a long time ago. But going by his post, it took him a while to figure it out. Which is annoying to me. I don't get how someone can fall into such a deep love for something and not know anything about it. It's shallow. When I first heard Le Disko I started to look into the band and over a few days absorbed everything I could about how it all came to be. |

You're not understanding. To take great interest in a new band is way different from: I was immediately in love and thought she was the best ****ing thing since sliced bread.
That's just shallow and annoying. You love something that much but can't bring yourself to do a background check on the band? To see that Carah was only a female vocalist reading from Jeremy and Chad's lyrics. It's not very hard to find this information. I was devastated when I found out she had left, but decided to try out SOP.
This just shows that it took him a while to actually learn something about the band. When Sisely came into STG existence, he still hadn't realized what the band was truly about. I ended up finally really liking Sisely for who she was and fell in love with Chad and realized him and Jeremy ARE Shiny Toy Guns.
And this shows just that. He basically didn't understand the mechanics of STG until SOP came out. |
