You put the video to the original Rocketship track, right? Or cut in the original chorus. However it works with video editing. Took me a minute before I realized what I was hearing. Lol. I intent on trying to "see" the change. Nice job.  |

The original chorus was a bit longer than the new chorus so it kept cutting off certain parts of Chad's vocals. So I had to slow down a few parts of the video and trim others. It was a little frustrating and I almost didn't continue on. But I finally figured it out and it came along fine. And yeah, it's just the chorus that I changed. I like the 2010 version.. But I wanted to see the video with the original chorus. Everything else is the new improved song. |

Not to make you self-conscious about the vid, but when the Disko Robot enters the club, at the chorus, there a....teeny tiny hiccup. Well i could have been my computer loading or something.
I think its superb.

Ha, that's definitely not me. I think I've seen it maybe 5 times. I noticed the hiccup too, but it didn't seem like a big deal. Matt did say he had trouble sticking the old chorus into the new song with time being different lengths and all. |

Ha, that's definitely not me. I think I've seen it maybe 5 times. I noticed the hiccup too, but it didn't seem like a big deal. Matt did say he had trouble sticking the old chorus into the new song with time being different lengths and all. Not only time, but some of the lyrics made it difficult too. In the original song, Chad's voice bleeds into the first chorus. In the music video, it's the "and lift off" or whatever. So when I originally added it in it sounded like "...And lift ride ride ride ride..." I was like, GODdarn it STG! So I had to find the match later on in the original song to fit the videos first chorus... The hiccup can be heard a few times in the video. The only time I don't hear it (and to my surprise) is after the first chorus.. Which was the hardest part to get right due to the chorus time difference. Does anyone hear a hiccup there? Cause I don't seem to hear it on my pc. |
