i signed up for tickets to the bloomington show, it's only 3 hours from me (and 45 minutes from my parents house!).  hope i get them!  if i do, and one of you wants to accompany me, i'd be up for that!  it'd be some short notice though, especially if they wait till the week before the show to notify me. 

Well, if they send us both tickets, maybe I will see you there!  I'll be the crazy girl planted in front of stage right 2 hours before the show, and staring at Mikey through the performance. 

BTW -- How early did you put your name on the list for tickets?

holy f*ck. so I looked up details about the show in Miami at that Nikki Beach Restaurant and Club. If I was looking at the right place, it's from 12:00PM-5AM with like... 20 other bands. the tickets are FORTY DOLLARS. Which, I just don't have. at all. Also, it's inside an actual hardcore club and it said 21+ for the event. -_-;

so. ugh. f*ck me.

Those 21+ shows really suck for their younger fans.

That IS true, but on the off hand, they do make a better environment for the older fans who don't want to have to feel like they are going to go to jail if they do what they WANT to and cut off the 3 ft pony tail of the blonde 17yr old in front of them who butted her way there and flops her hair in their face every ten seconds while she chats with her friends and doesn't even watch the show..... In my experience (and it's NOT ALWAYS true) an older crowd is a lot easier to enjoy a show with.  And less mauling of the group after the show when you want to get autographs and such.

When I went to see Shiny Toy Guns and The Sounds in Los Angeles, the crowed was mainly 17 years old girls talking when STG are playing and taking pics and saying "myspace".

I understand and agree. I prefer concerts consisting of an adult crowd too, but I still feel for Joe. I make exceptions for the teens in the forum, since they don't annoy me like most teenagers, and hope that they too can enjoy all of the Shiny wonderfulness.

Man, I agree with all of this. The last show of theirs I went to the one with The Sounds and the freaking teenagers were so annoying. There were a few who were truly there for the music and the experience and they were so focused and fun (we chatted between sets).

But the 21+ shows are definitely the best because everyone knows the concert etiquette by then.

If it weren't for the fact that you're 16/17, I'd say just wait til you're 21. But that's such a long time to wait and so much could happen. I just hope they'll bring a show to the area that you can attend. ^__^

OMG CONFUSION!!

so, I just looked up info about the concert in Miami and according to last.fm* the concert is for all ages and starts at 10AM. However, I can't find a phone number for the venue or anything to call and see what's up.

Is there a way I can contact the Shinies and see if they know what's going on? @_@;;

BUT OMG IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!

I just got an email that STG are coming to ORLANDO!!! That's a KABILLION times better than Miami anyways! And it's all ages and 15 bucks!

So I guess I shouldn't email Estelle now? lol
