Yes, I love him. Can't help it. Don't want to.

Now I want to go make out with someone. Chad sang.
It always gets me into a frenzy when I get to watch him play and sing. I wish he sang more in the mp3 version.
*wants him*
I feel your pain, Alli... I really do. I have Mikey-itis just as bad as you have an affliction for Chad. As soon as I saw that sparkly face, I lost it. - The Felinist

*wicked grin* The man I marry will be a lucky man. That's all I have to say on that subject.
I fainted as well.

Here's the video if any of youse wants it. The .flv is the original file and the converted .divx (which is twice as big and maybe a tiny bit worse in quality...as well as brighter -- due to its format, not anything I did) I did just in case .flv gives anyone fits. The original .flv (26.5mb) w/original 96kbps audio: http://www.mediafire.com/?moj2jnmtnmk...converted to .divx (53mb) w/192kbps audio: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ymzjdej0nz3Keep in mind the 192kbps audio will not be better sound quality since it is sourced from the 96kbps file. I went with more than double the original aduio bitrate only to minimize further lossyness. Some people like to go 256kbps for everything mp3, but considering the source, that seemed a bit silly. EDIT: why does " " show up sometimes in my posts and I have to go back and erase it?

What sort of software do you need to play those videos? They don't open/play for me.

I'm not familiar with total video player but VLC will at least play the divx. VLC is the standard for "plays anything and is simple and uses low resources", but it has more of a chance of getting bogged down by the video data because it doesn't use a bunch of codecs like the more bloated players you pay for.

Erm, most of that went right over my head. I like the sound of "uses low resources" though, since I like my computers to be speedy. I'll check it out too. Thanks.

The new faux-"live" version is basically the studio version but with some theater reverb/crowd thrown in there, Chad replacing Sis in some parts, an increased volume of Chad's backing vocals, and a spot where the instrumental backing unexpectedly drops out for effect. Also, 4 kick drum beats were thrown in every couple of measures during the verses. I was impressed enough with that particular change that I subtly modified the original to be like it (I left the first verse alone though). I have a collection of about 40 kick samples and I chose the one that approximated it.; I also spectrally circled/drew around Chad's voice at each octave and increased the volume of Chad in the outro by about 40%. I also added some more bass at the choruses because the bass drives the song there and was too puny before IMO. My version is slightly lower in overall volume to minimize any further loudness compression. I also added in some increased beat-before-the-chorus "thwaack" sound using the lincoln commercial sample because I thought that bit was pretty badass. I imagine my modified Major Tom is ok to post since the mp3 was a free release in the first place. http://www.mediafire.com/?txtzqm4zndq(-vbr0 -new)

Cool. So many people on here know how to modify the music. It's really neat because I don't have that skill at all. Anyway, I like it and am glad you shared (I actually hear your changes! ).
