For a while, there have been new posts that aren't showing up under the unread and new replies links at the top.
I find that if I click them, nothing new is listed, but if I refresh the home screen, the little board boxes become dark gray because of the new posts.
It happens with the Versant Discussion thread all the time, but also occasionally others as well. I'm not sure why.

I wouldn't know how to fix this... Not being an admin and all. *sniff*

I know. I was posting for our admin. *pats on back* Don't be sad.
It's been a problem for months. Now that we have someone who listens, I figured it might have a chance of being corrected.

I've noticed this too, but I don't really know how to go about fixing it. It sounds more like a problem to be fixed by the host site, because it's not a setting option or something I can edit in the HTML.

Hmm, I haven't encountered that issue.
Although I'll notice that if there are more than one thread that has replies in a certain board, the square stays dark grey.

Do you have the ability to contact the host site to at least make them aware of it?

It could be a cache setting.
Because I don't have this problem. If it was a host issue, we'd all be having it.

Cache is the place where all your "cookies" go. Its usually in the internet options of the Browsers.
It also depends on the browser you use.
In Google Chrome, its in Options -> Under the hood.
