It's all I'm listening to! I feel like I have vacated my body. Definitely an out of body experience. At least for me.

A purely chad experience is an OBE...

Oh yeah! Out of body sounds better (and it does kind of rhyme with "at a party"...I can't always get the lyrics right. Embarrassed).

I don't recall ever mentioning my car previously. I don't generally talk about my car. It just has nice speakers, which my previous vehicle (a truck) did not, so I really enjoy listening to music through them.

Wait, it could have been the time I said that I like to sing along to music while driving? That's an indirect reference to my car...

Hey guys...

I have been out of the loop for a while... family stuff .. very stressful...

Anyway,
I just got the new Major Tom song, and Rocketship 2010 this week and was reading what everyone had to say about R2010.

Do you guys REALLY think they're saying "neurolotic?"  I really thought it was "new robotic".  Neurolotic isn't even close to a real word (not that hypnotronic is really widely used... but...)  Just a little skeptical on that one.  I will be anxious to see when they release the liner notes (and hopefully lyrics) with the full album.

Honestly, I don't know what they're saying. I've only made out a few parts.

I do agree that the line does sound like "new robotic" as well. However, I thought maybe they created "neurolotic" from neurotic in order to make the lyrics rhyme and fit in better with the rest of the key words in that section.

[edit]
Sorry, guys. I was feeling self-conscious about what I wrote so I removed it.

Sounds like a pretty GOOD explanation of the lyrics, although I have to admit, I doubt that much thought went into it.

I have to stick with "new robotic" for me.  It works with my feel of the song.  Admittedly, I don't have the time (or mental energy) right now to give such an eloquent description for mine as you have for yours.   Cheesy

It could be neurologic. But I don't think it's new robotic. I definitely hear an "L" in that word.

Hehe, yeah. I doubt they put that much thought in to it too. Cheesy Neurologic seems to fit too. Undecided Maybe someday the lyrics will be put into a CD booklet or something. Then we'll know for sure!

Maybe it's "new melodic".
