Okay, I'm freshly home.
The facts are these: -Drunk Norwegian and Finnish boys -Transvestite lead singer -Backstage pass -Guy named Jason -Jeremy interview -That's what she said
What do you want to know about?
Also, a thing I will not explain. "Whose is this and can I sit on it?"

I'm pretty excited to hear about this! You know everyone is going to be wondering about that quote now that you mentioned it.

Everything.. I want to know everything. If I knew you saw The Sounds I'd ask for you to propose to Jesper for me as well.

I just realized the question in bold was for us forum goers...
I agree with Matty. It would be nice to hear everything.

Okay, here we go then.
-Drunk Norwegian and Finnish boys- There was this group of guys behind us who were totally smashed. They were groping girls and spilling beer on everyone and just being out of control. They kept molesting my friends and trying to come onto us. They kept telling us, in heavy accents, how they were from Finland and Norway. They were extremely irritating when one is trying to dance to Rocketship and they keep knocking you over into the group in front of you.
-Transvestite lead singer- Semi Precious Weapons' lead singer came out onto the stage in silver tights, silver sparkly high heeled ankle boots, and a short silver mini dress that barely went past his crotch. He was over the top and hilarious. Near the end of their set he stripped off his dress and boots, fell on the floor of the stage and pulled on a new shirt, Marilyn Monroe tights, and new sparkle boots. Then he climbed ONTO the crowd, standing on people, and sang the last song. He was insane.
-Backstage pass- After the STG set, which was epic, I scurried to the backstage door and phoned the manager. He popped his head out the door past the bouncer and nodded to me. As I approached the door, the bouncer looked like she wanted to body check me until Mike handed me a backstage pass. I went downstairs with him and waited outside the STG green room while he hunted Jeremy down. I chatted with Chad a bit, and then Jeremy appeared. He had me wait a bit so he could grab a drink, and then Sisely came out and saw me. She recognized me, gave a big hug, and we started chatting about my life and her life. I showed her the text Matty sent, she smiled and said "Well, if he's a good person, it doesn't matter if he's gay or wherever he lives, it could work out." Jeremy got his drink and I had to leave my conversation with Sisely just as she started talking about life on tour. I felt bad for having to leave mid sentence... Wish I could have talked to her more.
-Guy named Jason- Jeremy and I found a table and I set up my camera, but the lighting sucked. So we jumped up and found a small side room where this guy had computer spread out everywhere. He was cool with sharing the room, so we parked in there and I set up my tripod and started recording. His name was Jason and he was freakin' rad. He's the US merch guy for The Sounds.
-Jeremy interview- The interview with Jeremy was about 45 minutes long, but I didn't get a lot questions answered. Jeremy gets side tracked if he starts thinking about other bands and will deviate. But I didn't mind because he was interesting and extremely helpful. Plus, I got the most important questions answered.
-That's what she said- There were a lot of "That's what she said" jokes made. A LOT. It was hilarious!
Anything else? I'm transcribing the interview, so you guys won't get to see anything for a few days.

Sounds like it was fantastic (minus the crazy drunk guys)! I'm a teeny bit jealous, but seriously happy that Matt's proposal worked it's way in there! I am going to try my best to wait patiently for the interview.

Alli, I have never wanted to be someone else as much as I wish I was you last night. I would probably pass out if that ever happened to me. And I would probably punch the drunk guys in the face, or kick them in the back of the knees.

Oh OH! *raises hand* ME PICK ME! Okay, the last Shinies concert I went to, I TOTALLY threw my fists at these drunk guys bumping into me and my group. And I think I broke one of their knees with my foot or something. It was fun.

Matt, I was going to call on you, but you blurted it out way to fast. But I applaud you're maybe-breaking-a-knee being fun.
I can't wait till I go to The Sounds later this week. I just wish STG would be there...

Yes, I'm very excited for tomorrow.
But the sting is still here, like alcohol on a open cut. Never fun.

Hmm.. Maybe I'm alone when I say that's fun. You are alone when you say that. Only form of life on Mars alone. BUT THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING. however, not nearly as amazing as Alli's
