That video with Carah just makes me even more sure the other three Shinys are idiots. I believe the phrase I used at the time to describe the WAP incarnation of STG was "lightning in a bottle", and that they must must not have understood the significance of what they had. They ****ing hit the lottery and then threw it away for what sounds like some pretty specious reasons. It didn't help that a couple of my favorite bands had gone down that way and I remember thinking "this is getting beyond old...****ing emotionally handicapped rock musicians...stop whining and start treating each other like human beings". Carah shrugs the fan reaction off as unsuprising since most of us fell in love with STG when it was those 4...and don't get me wrong, STG is still a great band, but there are lots of great bands, ...that WAP lineup was something special. Sorry for the histrionics but that's how I feel. Thought I had mostly moved on too. Guess not  . Ugggh. |

...that WAP lineup was something special.
It was. WAP is one of those few CDs that I'll still listen to in it's entirety almost on a daily basis. I think that says a lot about the album (well, maybe just for me). |
