All we can do is speculate and imagine. But we will never really know. And we shouldn't try to understand too much or we'll ruin one party in our own minds. And I like both the current band and Carah.

Oh. The first part to my post was basically rhetorical I wouldnt want those guys to do that. lol I agree with Kenny. But as well with the rest of you too . I just got confused cause the whole thing hasn't been really cleared up. But, its nice to see Carah say her thoughts. I was like o.o the whole interview. Lol.

Lol So Carah didn't really care for Season of Poison. Well, I was right when I said it wouldn't work with her. oh well. I'm glad she's not ripping them apart.
Though I was slightly bothered by "This isn't even Shiny Toy Guns anymore." I'm not sure if she meant that in a bad way or a "whatever" way.

yeah, that's how I was at first. but I don't think she meant that in a bad way. more like a "Shiny Toy Guns as I knew them are no more" kind of way.

Really? Sure, it hasn't exactly been cleared up, but it's clear they didn't talk about things, which developed into some massive problem resulting in no more Carah. That's how I feel. There was basically a big miscommunication. And I really liked what you said about feelings making you perceive events a certain way. I mean, I feel like they're both right to a certain extent. Although after listening to this interview and the kajillion other interviews with Chad and Jer, it does sound more like Carah was kicked out and didn't just "leave". I really don't feel like I need anything "cleared up". I feel like hearing both sides of the story ultimately showed how things went down.

Thank you. Although after listening to this interview and the kajillion other interviews with Chad and Jer, it does sound more like Carah was kicked out and didn't just "leave".
I see it as both. In the interviews with Chad and Jeremy, it's always been something along the lines of "we wanted different things, she wanted to move on, we decided on a new singer because we needed to keep the band together." Did they just up and decide to replace Carah with Sisely? No. They replaced her when they thought she "left" them. And Carah? She gets a call and thinks the band just broke up while she was on a trip. So to discover that the band didn't actually break up and instead got a new singer, probably did feel like she was kicked out. You know? We're back to them not talking enough. I'd guess there were many times when one party or another could have asked what was going on, could have worked on fixing the problem. Friendships don't degrade in an instant. I'm certain they all felt it coming.

It might have been that the phone call was them worrying the band was breaking up and trying to find out what she wanted. But she thought the band breaking up regardless, so her response made them think she didn't want to be in the band.

Yep yep yep. Best thing to do is, take what we've heard, and the in-between could be the story. But yes, the result was no Carah none-the-less. I hope they can tour together one day. That would be a big piece of UBER PWNAGE LOVELY-NESS

Does anyone besides me think that Carah had a relationship with Jeremy or Chad?

I'm pretty sure there was a live chat thing once recently where Jeremy sort told the interviewer that he had slept with Carah.
I doubt Chad ever did, simply because he's been married since the early aughts, and back then Carah would have been underage, so... yeah, I doubt that ever happened.

I've heard Jeremy too, but then I don't really know because it's their business and I haven't looked into it.

What interview was this? Not that I disbelieve, but I am curious to hear the implication. - The Felinist
